傳遞愛與希望 感受人生價值         YIA動感青年暑期班圓滿結束!過去的這個暑假中,我們舉行了三次義工活動,學生們深入社區,幫助教堂為低收入人群分發食物與日常用品,也為無家可歸者提供幫助。          在這些義工活動中, 學生們不但為社會中需要幫助的弱勢群體提供物質援助,更讓被幫助者與社會感受到青年們對弱勢群體的愛與他們願意奉獻的心。與此同時,學生們也同樣受益匪淺,在這些活動中,他們近距離聽到、看到、感受到社會弱勢群體的需求,更培養了學生們的奉獻精神。         在幫助橙縣遊民(homeless)的活動中,項目的負責人為學生們介紹了教會開始這一項目的初衷——讓遊民們擁有自己的“社區”,使他們在屬於自己的社區中被平等對待,感受身處大家庭的歸屬感與溫暖感。通過近距離與遊民們的互動,學生們從枯燥的書本知識中走出來,邁入現實社會,并真切感受到自己身處社區、擁有家庭溫暖的幸運,進而越加珍惜自己所擁有的一切。         YIA不僅為學生提供義工機會使他們深入社區感同身受,也舉辦由青年輔導員主講的工作坊,帶領學生理解人生中的重要概念。暑期工作坊中,學生們學習了如何擁有積極的人生態度,也在青年輔導員的帶領下學習了時間規劃。學生們在寓教於樂的教學中理解重要的人生價值,為未來奠定堅實基礎。 YIA學生感言 “YIA allowed me the opportunity to better myself, others, and future generations to come.” “YIA給予了我提升自己、幫助他人、幫助未來新一代的機會。” Tim Gee, YIA 學生 2016  – 2017   “I took pleasure in contributing to the process of planning …
