September is National Suicide Prevention Month. According to the report of World Health Organization, over 70% of people who ended their lives by suicide suffered from mental health illness.

A brave teen Jada has risen above the stigma surrounding mental health challenges by taking people on her full mental health journey through music and writing. She feels freer because she is not hiding anymore. “Find what works for you, and be more open to helping yourself and helping others.”

Depression is a common mental health condition that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and changes in how you think, sleep, eat and act. Without treatment, depression can get worse and last longer. The good news is that treatments can be very effective in improving symptoms.
