Christians believe that the fundamental commonality among humanity lies in the fact that all people are created in the image of God. The differences among people clearly manifest the richness and diversity of God’s creation. Discrimination and hatred arising from these differences are contrary to God’s will. We can contribute our efforts towards building a harmonious and peaceful society by increasing our knowledge of hate crimes as the first step to prevent and counteract hatred.
